The Party!!!

The party was so much fun. We had Slick Pig wings and BBQ with the fixin's. The kids palyed outside for a while while the grown-up's had a chance to eat. Jessica was having a great time. She got so much stuff that it is almost embarassing. Most of it is new to her and we will have to slowly get to know each of them. Webkin??? Crazy 8's??? Wiggle Worms???

What's Inside???

There was a box... It was shaped like a house... There was Disney stuff on the outside... What was inside??? Jessica had a fun time guessing. How funny it is when she actually went with me to pick out her birthday cake. I guess she just never thought that her cake was in it!

I figured if I wanted any good pics of Jessica, I needed to get them before everyone got here. Was I ever right. She could not stop talking about what was going to happen once everyone got here for her birthday.

Game #2... Glad this one is done...

To say that this was not our best game is an understatement. "It was like herding cats" is how todays game was... Only a few really wanted to be there. You can tell from the photos. Jessica stayed focused for about 5 minutes and then all she wanted to know was where was daddy and are we done yet. Apparently she was not the only one that did not klike an 8am game. There are plenty more to play, hopefully they will get better with time!

Birthday Party at school

The Soccer Game

The day was great... Jessica got to play the 1st and 3rd quarters. I have no idea on what positions other than she was never goalie. I asked her what her favorite part was and she said "playing with Lauren". I then asked what she did not like about playing and she said "Having to kick the ball when someone else was kicking at it". I guess we spend all of our time telling them to share and be nice and then you introduce them to a sport like soccer. It requires you to "get the ball" from someone else and use your agressive side to do it. I guess over the next few weeks, we will be able to help Jessica be a little bit more aggressive (but nice) and get the ball!!!

2nd practice makes close to perfect???

Today was the 2nd practice for the first game tomorrow. Jessica is so excited. And the jersey's made it in. I know, it is UT orange but that is ok as her team will be easy to find! Game Day tomorrow at 9am!!!

One Goal Soccer

Today was Jessica's first practice. It was only 105 when they had to be there. We gave her 1 gatorade before she went, she drank one while she was there and then had another one at granny's after the game.

We are so excited that Jessica gets to play this year. Brian is the assistant coach and Mark McKnight is the head coach. Lauren, his daughter, plays on the team too. Can you imagine twelve 4 and 5 year old boys and girls chasing the ball??? I call it clump soccer. When the ball gets to rolling along they run after it in a clump!!!

Lovin' the Sprinkler

It is always the first step that is the hardest to take because the water is freeeezin' . Once the initial shock is over, getting her out of the water is a task within itself. Jessica always loves drinking the water as she says it tastes better out here. She also thinks that it is better to shovel water than to pour it out.

Who needs gifts when you have BOXES

Who needs gifts when you have huge left over Southern Living Boxes that make a great house??? Jessica had a ball playing house in her 3 larger than life empty boxes. I did have to help make a door, lay carpet and provide a roof. Hard labor!! I guess that she spent about an hour in there. She even made Tigger pay a visit- of which he did not like at all!

Stampin' Up! Convention 2007

What a great time it is when you get recognized for all of your hard work. Beckie, Leasa and I all had the opportunity to do just that.... We got to walk across the stage and get recognition for several different awards... Beckie is on the far right, Leasa in the middle and I am on the left...

Out of Town

Well I have been out of town.... really out of town... All the way over to Denver Colorado. It was a fun trip with my girlfriends... Tamie, Linda, Beckie and her mom. We had a ball. We went a few days early to sight see and that we did.
