New hair style

Jessica wanted some curly hair so I braided it wet and she went to bed.

The next morning, she had wavy hair... She decided that she did not like it!!!

Good Friday's storm

Just as a point of reference, this is as you are coming into Murfreesboro from Smyrna on M'boro Road. There is the Harley motorcycle dealership to the left and a body shop to the right . At this time, the tornado was just over Thompson Lane. Brian, Jessica and I are all safe but it was very scary!!! I have no idea who took this photo but it has been passed around on different media. It was a good picture if there ever is a good picture of a tornado.

The bear that ate fruit!

Jessica's class read a book about a bear that loved to eat fruit, especially strawberries. Well her homework was to transform the strawberry into something else so that the bear would not recognize it as a strawberry...

Look real close and you can see the drawing of the strawberry.....

Jessica thought of several things... a flower (too hard thought mom), a blackberry (just color it black... too easy) then she said Mrs. Potato Head.... She went upstairs and got out her potato head and began to put her together. When she was happy with that, we just copied her accessories, eyes and coloring to the strawberry. I helped her punch circles, cut out a hat and glasses then she did the rest... Daddy was laughing so hard when he saw it...

Giant Strawberry

Doesn't look all that big, does it????

Or does it??? This is it up against Jessica's hand... It was huge..

Now if Mr Kenny can grow them this big, we will be so excited!!!
