This is a dress that Jessica received as a birthday present from Monica. I love the colors. Thanks Monica!!!

What a great day for a game today!

Today's game was much better than last. It was about 75 degrees outside and not a cloud int he sky. The team actually looked unified and agreed which way the goal was... or atleast which direction to kick it in in the 1st half! No goals this time but they all appeared to have fun!!!

Lunch Jessica? No response from her.. see why below!!! She was checking for cracks in her eyelids. It took less than 2 minutes for her to fall over dead asleep!

Time for more fun!

After the birthday stuff, the kids wanted to play outside again. It is still swimsuit weather around here. You can see that the kids are all growing up. We attached the slip & slide to the 8 foot slide and boy was it ever fun. This is usually an event that takes place when everyone is over here but this was the first time Jessica ever did it. Normally she was too scared ( I don't blame her). After everyone dried off, the girls all came inside and had a tea party with one of Jessica's new gifts. Cheryl and I played an addictive computer game from Comcast called "hidden expedition" for about an hour. The house finally got quite about 9pm...

The Party!!!

The party was so much fun. We had Slick Pig wings and BBQ with the fixin's. The kids palyed outside for a while while the grown-up's had a chance to eat. Jessica was having a great time. She got so much stuff that it is almost embarassing. Most of it is new to her and we will have to slowly get to know each of them. Webkin??? Crazy 8's??? Wiggle Worms???

What's Inside???

There was a box... It was shaped like a house... There was Disney stuff on the outside... What was inside??? Jessica had a fun time guessing. How funny it is when she actually went with me to pick out her birthday cake. I guess she just never thought that her cake was in it!

I figured if I wanted any good pics of Jessica, I needed to get them before everyone got here. Was I ever right. She could not stop talking about what was going to happen once everyone got here for her birthday.

Game #2... Glad this one is done...

To say that this was not our best game is an understatement. "It was like herding cats" is how todays game was... Only a few really wanted to be there. You can tell from the photos. Jessica stayed focused for about 5 minutes and then all she wanted to know was where was daddy and are we done yet. Apparently she was not the only one that did not klike an 8am game. There are plenty more to play, hopefully they will get better with time!

Birthday Party at school

Labor Day at Daphne's

We had a fun time to Daphne and Bill's on Labor Day. Here the girls are enjoying a "picnic" on the patio!

The Soccer Game

The day was great... Jessica got to play the 1st and 3rd quarters. I have no idea on what positions other than she was never goalie. I asked her what her favorite part was and she said "playing with Lauren". I then asked what she did not like about playing and she said "Having to kick the ball when someone else was kicking at it". I guess we spend all of our time telling them to share and be nice and then you introduce them to a sport like soccer. It requires you to "get the ball" from someone else and use your agressive side to do it. I guess over the next few weeks, we will be able to help Jessica be a little bit more aggressive (but nice) and get the ball!!!
