Today was Dad's banquet honoring him for his "Distinguished Career Award". This is the highest honor that the TN PGA can give any of its members. Here is the link to the article for dad:

It was great to be able to see daddy's peers select him for this award. It is one thing when you see a grown man cry but when it is your daddy..... talk about tears flowing.... I don't think that there were many dry eyes in the room.

Dad with Alan Richardson. Alan did a great job of introducing dad before he went up to give his speech. Dad taught Alan how to play golf but no longer wants credit for that... especially if you see how Alan plays.....
