Brian's Shoulder Surgery

Just a quick family note that all is well...  He had a hooked bone spur shooting off his collarbone that was hitting his rotator cuff when he raised his right arm.  Well ...  not anymore.  There was no damage to the rotator cuff and he has 3 small incision that will heal soon.  There will be some physical therapy (that will hurt) but should be up and about in a few weeks!!!

My ear hurts!!!

Luckily it is only her "6 year old" molars (all 4 of them) coming in at once vs. an ear infection!!!

The difference of a week

O before her lip surgery...

O after surgery... Wow what a difference a week can make in someone's life...
We are falling in love with her new smile just as quick as we did her old smile!!!
She has done very well. We go tomorrow to have the remaining stitches removed and then just wait for the others to disolve!!

gotta wear shades!!!

You can tell when she is feeling no pain thanks to some good drugs!!! I will post some before and after shots tonight!!

On our way home (I'm not driving)

We should be home and in our own beds by 915ish... Dr. D says she
looks great and would probably be more comfortable @ home and I
agreed!!!

Sleeping beauty!

Not sure if the pic is coming across or not but she has eaten lunch, drank juice and milk and now is sleeping very well... Thanks everyone!!! We should go home in the am

All is well!!!

Dr D says that he is very pleased with how her lip and nose look.....
He said she went out without a fight and is in recovery now... He got
a good look at her pallete and said it is all there but just needs to
be put together... Sometime in the near future (January sometime)...

In about 45 minutes we can go back and see her...her smile will be
better than before and I can hardly wiat!!!

On our way

We are on our way to Baptist doe O's surgery this morning. Are we
ready?? I is going to be hard on us seeing our baby girl that way but
we know and trust that it is all for the best for her... We will look
back at this time and know that we did what we had to do.

Pray that O has a smooth transition in and out of anesthesia and that
we can manage her pain levels for her. We will keep you posted after
surgery!!!
